Lake Wabaskang

We have attempted, as best we can, to detail the lake and the fishing you can expect while you are here. Every outfitter likes to think that they have the best! The truth is that nearly all of the lakes in the region have good to excellent fishing. The Ministry of Natural Resources, along with the cooperation of outfitters and the visiting fishermen, have done an outstanding job of preserving the fisheries for the present fishermen as well as for generations to come. Wabaskang is a lake that should satisfy almost any fisherperson be they pro or novice. We have a variety and abundance of fish. Like most of the lakes in the area, Wabaskang has excellent Walleye and Northern populations, but unlike many other lakes, it also has great Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout and outstanding Jumbo perch. The bottom line is this - we have a lot of fish - how large are they? Like any other lake, they come in all sizes.
